Equals an interview with two notable hip hop authors/activists/educators: Sophia Quintero a.k.a. Black Artemis and Elisha Miranda a.k.a. E-Fierce. These two women are Co-founders of Chica Luna Productions, Sister Outsider Entertainment AND they teach and lecture on the college circuit. If that's not enough to blow your mind they are both activists who work with youth, have created hip hop literary curriculum for students and produce films. Whoa there are some heavy, heavy women running things in this day and age!

I will have the honor of interviewing both Sophia and her "partner in crime" Elisha, this coming Sunday at 5pm EST on RHYMES, VIEWS & NEWS TALK RADIO. We're going to talk about all things relating to their current creative work and the projects they have in the works. I also want to find out what inspired them to travel the path they are on, and I'm sure they will get into their roots from the Bronx, hip hop and how they became writers. I am not posting their bios here, as I'd rather you look to their websites and LISTEN LIVE when I interview them this Sunday. As always, it's a pleasure to talk with inspiring people who walk the world as critical thinkers, intent on making our society a better place through their gifts. I know my listeners will get alot out of this interview with Sophia Quintero and Elisha Miranda. Just a NOTE: A few months back I created a LISTMANIA on Amazon.com titled WOMEN LEADERS IN HIP HOP, FEMINIST THOUGHT & SPOKEN WORD. Since we are on that topic, I'm going to go ahead and share with you the books on that list, as well as others by women in this category (including books by Sophia Quintero and Elisha Miranda). Some of these books may not have a whole lot to do with Hip Hop, but if they inspire the youth of the hip hop generation that's just as powerful. See the details below on regarding the interview.
